New Delhi, July 22: Zomato, an online food delivery platform, crashed on Thursday evening, which led to its users posting their experiences on Twitter. It soon became an inspiration for various meme makers with the micro-blogging site flooding with memes, funny jokes and reactions of people. Twitteratti started sharing their views with #ZomatoDown which soon raged into a leading trend on the platform.

Interestingly, the shares of Zomato are due to be listed on stock exchanges tomorrow, on Friday. Many wondered whether the company is busy allotting shares that caused the crash! Notably, the food ordering platform was successful in raising over Rs 9,000 crore through its IPO last week.
