In conversation with senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi (who has lately assumed responsibility as the ‘voice of the people’) former US diplomat Nicholas Burns called the killing of George Floyd ‘horrible’, acknowledging that the United States has always had a problem of racism against African-Americans.
Speaking of tolerance, which should be at the core of a country, Rahul Gandhi remarked, “It's sad but I don't see the kind of tolerance I used to see in India and the US.”
Do you agree with this remark of Rahul Gandhi? Has the fabric of tolerance in the nation changed since change in governance from UPA to NDA? Do you feel safer in the hands of Modi-led BJP government or do you think Rahul Gandhi, as he himself stated, ‘knows the DNA of the country’ best?
