The franchises will be banking on these youngsters in this year's IPL.
Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman – 20 Years
Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb-ur-Rahman made his debut with Kings XI Punjab in 2018, becoming the youngest player in the history of IPL. He will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season after being bought for Rs. 1.5 crore.
Abdul Samad – 19 Years
Abdul Samad is already a showstopper with his hard-hitting skills. Sunrisers Hyderabad picked him up in the auction of the 2020 season at a base price of 20 lakhs INR.
Riyan Parag – 19 Years
Riyan Parag made his debut back in 2019 with Rajasthan Royals. He became the youngest player to hit a fifty in the history of IPL in 2019. Riyan has been retained by RR for the 2021 IPL tournament. He has so far played 19 matches, scored 246 runs, and bagged two wickets.
Yashasvi Jaiswal – 19 Years
After a terrific outing at the Under 19 World Cup and becoming the youngest player to score a double century in the history of List A cricket, Yashasvi Jaiswal was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.4 crore in 2020. He is the second-youngest player to be part of the 2021 IPL.
Akash Singh – 18 Years
Akash Singh was the youngest player in IPL 2020. Rajasthan Royals picked the left-arm pacer at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. He remains with RR for the upcoming season as well.
Ravi Bishnoi - 19 years
Kings XI Punjab picked up Ravi Bishnoi after his impressive performance at the Under 19 World Cup 2019. The 19-year-old leg-spinner was bought at a whopping price of Rs 2 crore.
Anukul Roy - 22 years
The 21-year-old boy from Jharkhand is Mumbai Indians' youngest player since 2019. Anukul Roy has been compared to Ravindra Jadeja for his skills on the field. MI grabbed him at an auction price of Rs 20 lakh.
Prithvi Shaw - 21 years
The youngest player of the Delhi Capitals team, Prithvi Shaw, is already a prodigy. He made his debut in 2018, picked at an auction price of Rs 1.20 crore. So far, he has played 38 matches and scored 826 runs.
Devdutt Paddikal - 20 years
Devdutt Paddikal made his debut in 2020 with Royal Challengers Bangalore and had impressed all with his batting up the order. He was picked up at an auction base price of Rs 20 lakh.
Sam Curran - 22 years
CSK roped in the English all-rounder in 2019 at a whopping price of Rs 5.5 crore. Curran has so far played 23 matches, scored 281 runs, and taken 23 wickets.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti - 21 years
The young pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti was picked by KKR in 2020 at a hefty cost of Rs 3.20 crore.
