'Young versus old divide' caused by Maharashtra Congress chief Balasaheb Thorat's resignation offer

There seems to be a division in the Congress' state unit on the lines of ‘young versus old’ that has split the central leadership for a long time. After Balasaheb Bhausaheb Thorat showed a willingness to resign as the Maharashtra Congress chief, the party in-charge HK Patil has come on a two-day Maharashtra tour. Maharashtra in-charge of HK Patil met Prithviraj Chavan and Balasaheb Thorat separately to discuss Sahyadri Guest House. The discussion with Ashok Chavan was held this morning.
