Yogi Adityanath takes key decisions in UP Cabinet meet: No liquor shops in residential areas, English for nursery; Highlights

Lucknow, Apr 7: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Cabinet meeting on Thursday night in which various decision were taken. State Cabinet Minister Shrikant Sharma on Friday addressed a press conference while informing about the key decisions taken during the meeting.

Some of the major decisions taken by the UP government during the Cabinet meet include compulsory teaching of English to children from nursery. Apart from this, the Cabinet also decided that no liquor shop should be operational in residential areas and within 500 m nearby hospitals, educational institutions and religious places.
