Yamaha Motor India has announced a special finance scheme for COVID-19 frontline warriors. The special EMI scheme will be valid for all the frontline warriors, like doctors, healthcare workers, police and others. The scheme is only applicable until the end of this month (July 31).

So what exactly is this new scheme? Customers will be able to buy a new Yamaha two-wheeler and will need to pay 50 per cent of their monthly EMI for the first three months, after that they will have to pay the regular EMI amount.

The scheme will be available to buyers at all authorised Yamaha dealerships across the country. The motive of this scheme is to ease the pressure on the frontline warriors who might be planning to buy a new two-wheeler during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yamaha earlier also came up with a special service camp for the frontline COVID-19 warriors and offered exclusive discounts, service priorities and other benefits for all those who served the society during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These COVID-19 warriors and staff include doctors, police personnel, healthcare workers and everyone else. These frontline warriors will be offered a free 14-point vehicle checkup, vehicle sanitisation and a 10 percent discounts on spare parts and labour charges.

The company reopened dealerships and service centres across India on the 15th of May. Yahama resumed operations across all dealerships, which are not situated in the containment zones.

Yamaha increased the prices of the BS6 Ray ZR 125 Fi and BS6 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi scooters. The Ray ZR 125 Fi drum is now priced at Rs 67,530, the Ray ZR 125 Fi disc is priced at Rs 70,530 and the Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi carries a price tag of Rs 71,530 (again, all prices are ex-showroom).

All three models get a price hike of Rs 800. Not only the scooters, but prices of the BS6 Yamaha R15 V3.0, BS6 Yamaha FZ-Fi, BS6 Yamaha FZS-Fi and BS6 Yamaha MT-15 have also gone up.

Thoughts About The Special Finance Scheme From Yamaha

Through this special campaign by Yamaha, the customers who are working to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and are willing to buy a two-wheeler, it will become easy for them as they need not worry about how to pay the entire EMI amount for the first three months during this cash crunch time.
