World's heaviest woman, undergoing treatment for weight reduction in Maharashtra's Mumbai, has lost almost half her weight in two months and is recuperating well.

Reportedly, Eman, who originally weighed around 500 kilograms underwent a bariatric surgery and has shed 242 kg since she came to India in February. Confirming the same the doctor said Eman's health parameters had dramatically improved since the surgery and her heart, kidneys, lungs and excess fluid levels were all under control. Lakdawala further said Eman would be able to shed another 200-kg over a period of six months as the treatment progresses.
