A horrific video of a woman hanging off a fairground ride in an amusement park in Mexico has gone viral on social media. The clip shows the woman dangling from the ride in Ciudad Juarez as it goes upwards. Although she tries to hang onto a rode, the woman falls to the ground. Towards the end of the video, the woman can be seen getting up and walking away from the ride. It is not known if the woman sustained injuries or is doing fine. Following the incident, Juárez Mayor Armando Cabada shared pictures of the ride on his Facebook page along with a caption in Spanish which reads, "The mechanical games detected at Finca Bonita were operating clandestinely and without an operating permit, which is why they were already closed by Civil Protection. According to local media reports, the accident occurred on June 14 at the Kataplum amusement park in Plaza las Antennas on the Rio Grande. It is not known if the ride has been inspected by local authorities. There have been several incidents of people falling off rides at amusement parks at multiple times in the past. While some have been dangerous, in other case people have escaped uninjured. These adventure rides have also taken the lives of people too.
