Here’s Why Tiger Shroff – Disha Patani, Ajay Devgn – Kajol Did Not Attend Any Bollywood Diwali Bashes This Year
This week celebrities from B-Town were busy celebrating the occasion with pomp and show. They were leaving no stone unturned to make the most of this day. While Ekta Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, Anil Kapoor had hosted Diwali bashes, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, among others, were seen attending one. Everyone was dressed their best; from wearing designer clothes to hosting the most lavish Diwali bashes, the stars sure knew how to celebrate the fest in style. They had ensured that they bring in the festival with much fervour. Also, many celebrities, who were often at loggerheads, bonded like BFFs at these parties.
Diwali bashes are certainly another excuse for actors to meet, socialise and bond with each other. However, there were quite a few celebs, who stayed away from the limelight. Here, I list down those names whose absence at these bashes were clearly visible and while you wonder ‘why’, let me tell you why these celebs chose not to attend any parties this Diwali. Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, girlfriend Disha Patani, the Bachchans, Ajay Devgn and wife Kajol, and Hrithik Roshan, among others, were not seen in any of the Diwali bashes. While Shraddha, who is currently shooting for Prabhas’ film Saaho, injured her leg while shooting a sequence and was advised by the doctor for complete bed rest, Tiger Shoff told DNA, he spent his Diwali at home with a quiet puja and since boyfriend chose to have a peaceful Diwali at home, so did Disha. The Bachchans, who are best known for their Diwali bashes, too, did not celebrate this year. In fact, they decided to perform a traditional puja at home. Since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lost her father Krishnaraj Rai, this year, the family stayed away from celebrations. The Bachchan didn’t even dress Jalsa and Prateeksha in lights. Another famous couple, Ajay Devgn and Kajol, was missing in action; the couple performed Laxmi Puja at home and left the country the following day. Last but not the least, here comes the most controversial actor, Hrithik Roshan, who was not seen in any of the parties. Well, the actor had taken off for Goa, along with his boys and ex-wife Sussanne Khan. Looks like the family wanted to celebrate the festival of light away from all the noise and pollution.
