In a foot in mouth situation for BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha, he introduced actor Akhilendra Mishra as Akhilesh Yadav at the Bodhisattva International film festival in Patna on Thursday.
In a bid to do some damage control, Sinha added, "I don't know why I keep recalling Akhilesh Yadav. Now this will create controversy, I know."
Clarifying later, Sinha said that calling Akhilendra Misra as Akhilesh Yadav was just to remove monotony from the programme.
"Life becomes monotonous until there is some humour. But it's a fact that Akhilesh Yadav is all over the place nowadays", he said.

Taking a jibes at PM Narendra Modi, he said that he only believed in his "Dil Ki Baat" and not "Mann Ki Baat".
On Wednesday, Shatrughan Sinha had expressed disappointment over not being included among the BJP star campaigners for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
"The biggest star campaigner of the country has been kept away from Uttar Pradesh", said Shatrughan Sinha.
