Whatsapp Privacy Policy Row: Centre calls the policy anti-user; Whatsapp refuses to relent

The Centre and Whatsapp are once again involved in a tussle over the new privacy policy introduced by Whatsapp. The Centre has termed this policy anti-user and has stated that Whatsapp has unleashed its digital prowess on the users. Whatsapp on the other hand has hit back at the Centre, stating that it is only giving an option to the users to interact with businesses that are supported by Facebook. NDA-led Central government in an affidavit has given a point-by-point rebuttal, claiming that the platform is forcing users to accept its privacy policy.
