Mehidy: Mehidy Hasan has a superb Test match

Mehidy Hasan was superb for the hosts, slamming his maiden ton in Test cricket.

He slammed 13 fours in a knock of 168 balls.

Mehidy became the 19th Bangladeshi batsman to register 700-plus runs in Tests.

He also claimed seven wickets in the Test match.

Mehidy has raced to 97 career Test scalps for Bangladesh as well.

As per ESPNCricinfo, Mehidy became the fourth Bangladeshi batsman to score a century while batting at number eight in Test cricket.

After getting to a century on Day 2 of the Test, Mehidy scripted a record of being the fourth-youngest player in Test history to register a ton, besides having a 10-wicket haul in Test cricket (23y 102d).

Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque, who scored 115 in the second innings, became the first player from his side to register 10 centuries in Tests. Haque also surpassed the 3,000-run mark (3,001) and is now the fifth Bangladeshi batsman to achieve this milestone.

WI duo: Warrican and Brathwaite achieve these feats

West Indies left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican claimed a seven-wicket haul in the Test.

Warrican has raced to 29 Test scalps, besides third four-wicket haul in an innings.

Brathwaite (76 and 20) has accumulated 3,823 career Test runs at 32.67.

He slammed his 20th Test fifty.

Notably, Brathwaite went past former WI cricketer Clyde Walcott in terms of career Test runs (3,798).

Mayers: Historic moment for debutant Kyle Mayers

After becoming the 14th WI batsman to score a century on Test debut, Mayers is just the second batsman after Gordon Greenidge to hit a double-century in the fourth innings to win a match.

Mayers has scripted the highest individual score in the fourth innings by a non-Asian batsmen in Asia.

He went past Usman Khawaja's tally of 141 versus Pakistan in 2018.

Nkrumah Bonner and Mayer shared a defining 216-run stand for fourth wicket in the second innings.

This is also the fourth time WI managed a 200-plus partnership against Bangladesh in Tests.

Mayers is just the sixth cricketer to hit a double-century in the fourth innings of a Test. He is also the first player to score a double-century in the fourth innings on debut. He also became the sixth batsman to register a double-century on debut.

Playing his debut Test for WI, Bonner slammed a 245-ball 86 in the second innings. He slammed 10 fours and a six. Meanwhile, Mayers slammed an unbeaten 210, amassing 20 fours and seven sixes.
