The West Indies cricket team beat Australia in the fifth and final T20I to seal the series 4-1.It was another top performance by the Windies outfit, who claimed a 16-run win.Evin Lewis' 79 helped WI post 199/8 in 20 overs.In reply, the Aussies managed 183/9 to lose the match.Sheldon Cottrell and Andre Russell took three wickets each.

Gayle has gone past the 1,800-run mark in T20Is (1,818), becoming the first player from his nation to achieve this mark. He also surpassed Kane Williamson (1,805). He is also the first batter in WI-Australia T20Is to get past 400 runs (405). Gayle has hit 29 sixes.
Fact: WI continue to dominate against Australia in T20Is
This was the 16th head-to-head meeting between the two sides in T20Is. The Windies won their 10th T20I against Australia (W10 L6). West Indies also recorded their second-highest total against Australia (199/8).
