The chorus for Anti-Macron has grown louder in West Bengal, with protestors taking to the streets. Various Muslim groups have come out and effigies of the French President Emmanuel Macron were burnt. The protestors even demanded that the Centre should summon the French ambassador immediately.
Times Now's correspondent Tamal Saha spoke to a group of protestors, who stated that they condemn the attack and if any Muslim commits a crime or does violence, Muslims also condemn that man as well. They further add that the act is still condemnable when a non-muslim does it. They further say that when a Non-Muslim commits an act, the media treats it as trivial, but the same is not the case for the violence done by Muslims.
