The Bhartiya Janata Party has announced a nationwide Dharna to protest against the mayhem that has been unleashed in West Bengal after TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee won the Assembly elections 20221. Post-poll violence in Bengal has led to the deaths of over 9 people, all of whom were BJP workers. The call for Dharna comes on the same day as Mamata Banerjee's swearing-in ceremony. All the opposition parties are now seeing answers from Didi over the mayhem and whether she will take cognizance of the matter or not. BJP President JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to West Bengal to take stock of the situation, while the Centre keeps a close watch.
