West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar is visiting the violence-hit areas of West Bengal. After visiting Cooch Behar's Mathanga and Sitalkuchi, Jagdeep Dhankar today visited Ranpagli in Assam. Hundreds of people bled and several others fled in order to save their lives from the violence that was witnessed in West Bengal after TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee came to power. Jagdeep Dhankar met with the people who fled Bengal and took shelter in Ranpagli camps in Assam. As many as 400 people fled Bengal fearing for their lives and narrated their ordeal to Governor Jagdeep Dhankar, who is on a visit to assess post-poll violence areas.
