West Bengal government allows 100% occupancy in cinema halls with COVID precautions

West Bengal government has allowed 100 percent cinema halls occupancy, the Tamil Nadu government also took a similar decision, but the Home Ministry objected to the decision and asked the state to not dilute centre’s COVID 19 guidelines. West Bengal government has now taken a decision regarding the cinema occupancy row. West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated that along with cinema occupancy, COVID guidelines will also be made mandatory and precautionary measures will be taken. West Bengal is one of the those states that has to keep a very tight vigil on the COVID protocols considering the state’s COVID situation. The state has allowed occupancy with precaution.
