West Bengal Cocaine Scandal: BJP leader Rakesh Singh arrested in drugs case

In the latest development regarding the West Bengal drug scandal case, state BJP leader Rakesh Singh has been arrested at Galsi in the East Burdwan district, 125 kilometres from Kolkata. He was allegedly fleeing the state by road in an Audi. The Kolkata Police has also arrested his two sons for trying to prevent them from entering their residence today over the absence of a search warrant - which arrived later. BJP's youth-wing leader Pamela Goswami, the prime accused in the coal and cocaine scandal who was taken into custody over allegations of possessing around 100 grams of cocaine, has named Singh in the drugs case.
