West Bengal 2021 Polls: State BJP Chief claims to implement Gujarat model

In regard to the upcoming West Bengal 2021 state assembly elections, the state BJP chief Dilip Ghosh said that his party, if brought to power will implement Gujarat's model to develop the state. He had also slammed the successive governments for not working on job creation and solving the unemployment issue in Bengal. This has stirred massive political controversy in the state ahead of next assembly polls and the Trinamool Congress reacted to the BJP spokesperson's statements claiming that Gujarat is known for riots and encounters, not development. State panchayat minister and senior TMC leader Subrata Mukherjee also contended that BJP will never be able to fulfill its dream of winning the Bengal polls.
