We are well prepared in 2020: Army Chief on CAG flagging lack of essential gears

Speaking on Comptroller and Auditor General of India's (CAG) report which shows there are huge shortages of reserves of specialised winter clothing and other equipment for Army troops that deployed in high-altitude areas, Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane on Tuesday said that the report was for the year of 2015-16 and this is not the report of present time. He further said, "As of today in 2020, we are very well prepared. Every Jawan who goes to Siachen gets personal clothing worth approximately Rs 1 lakh each; that is the kind of preparation we do. We will make sure that our men are well looked up after all time."
