Mumbai, Mar 31 (PTI) Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1625.29 crore in 74 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were: The 7.61 per cent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs 175.00 crore at yeighted yield of 7.17 per cent and the 182-days Treasury bill (issue no.180517) traded value at Rs 150.00 crore at yeighted yield of 5.70 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 8,006.54 crore and the total number of trades was 258.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 2,296.95 crore as on Mar 30, while the lowest was Rs 1,625.29 crore as on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.40 per cent, 6.84 per cent, 6.98 per cent and 7.34, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0-90 days was 5.70 per cent.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 4,578.39 crore, representing 57.18 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securitis was at Rs 3,428.15 crore, representing 42.82 per cent, an NSE release said.
