How farmers stormed Red Fort on tractors, hoisted flag from its ramparts

Protesting farmers deviated from the agreed upon routes and clashed with cops to reach the Red Fort in the capital. The protesters indulged in violence in some parts of Delhi and police had to fire tear gas shells. Some farmers violated the agreed upon routes and moved towards the Red Fort. They were also seen unfurling their flags at the Red Fort. A Delhi police personnel later brought down the flag put up by the protesters. The chaos unfolded despite the police giving farmers camping at Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur permission to hold rallies on specific routes after the completion of the official Republic Day parade at Rajpath.
