Watch: Indian army successfully test fires Block-III version of BrahMos missile

The supersonic cruise missile of Land attack variant BrahMos, was successfully tested by the Indian Army in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Tuesday. The Block-III version of BrahMos missile system was tested in steep-dive mode as part of its capability enhancement endeavor. It was the fourth successful launch of BrahMos missile of Block-III version of land attack cruise missile. The missile's technology and range was recently upgraded from 290 km to 450 km after India's full membership to the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), which removes caps from the range.
