Mumbai, Mar 15 (ANI): Amid surge in COVID cases in Maharashtra, administration has been taking up steps including lockdown and night curfew to contain the spread. Mumbai’s famous Dadar market on the morning of March 15 witnessed huge crowd. Social distancing norms and COVID protocols went for a toss. In the last 24 hours, Mumbai has reported 1962 new COVID-19 cases. On March 14, state recorded this year's highest one-day spike of 16,620 new COVID cases, this increased the total caseload of the state to 23,14,413.
