From starring in action movies to tickling our funny bone with his brilliant comic-timing, Akshay Kumar is one actor whose versatility is beyond comparison. Apart from his wit and stance on social issues, if there's one thing Akshay Kumar is known for, it is his love for fitness.

The actor, who was a stunt artist before his acting career took off, is one of the first Bollywood celebs to become a fitness icon.

Recently, the actor presented an example of how fit he is even at 50, and shared a video on Twitter, where he can been seen exercising under the sun.

Taking the fun and brilliance of hula hoop ring exercises to a whole new level by doing it with wooden beads, Akshay was at his dynamic best.

A hula hoop ring is sturdy and huge, and twirled around the limbs, waist or neck, to make one's body more flexible.

The actor revamped the idea of a hula hoop ring, and used a flexible, wooden bead band to twirl around his waist. The idea of the flexible band is to not rely on the concreteness of the ring, and exert more pressure to keep the band twirling. Now, that's one genius innovation, Akshay.

The actor, who posted the video on social media, can be seen twirling it around his toned waist with hands stretched in the air. Watch the video, and be ready to want to try your hand at it too.
