War of words erupts over Bihar's law and order situation; heinous crime in the state continues

The law and order situation in Bihar is constantly deteriorating. Apart from the continuous heinous crimes against women, men too are now being targeted. An Indigo Airline employee was murdered in cold-blood in Patna and two brutal rapes have also been committed in the time frame of just 24 hours. One of the cases was reported from Muzaffarpur, where the girl was gang-raped and burnt alive and the other in Madhubani, where a specially-abled minor girl was gang-raped. Her eyes were damaged by the accused.

The opposition has hit out at CM Nitish Yadav, terming it as a jungle raj, and wants the CM to quit. BJP MP Vivek Thakur has hit back and stated that the citizens should have faith in the government.
