Vivo Z1Pro India launch on July 3: 5 reasons you should wait for this under Rs 20,000 smartphone
Vivo wants to enter the online retail segment in India and the company is planning to do that with the upcoming Z series phones. If you have been following Vivo's journey in the country you will know that the company is extremely popular and has garnered tremendous success when it comes to offline sales. But online, not so much. With the upcoming Vivo Z series smartphone the smartphone manufacturer is aiming to change that and foray the online segment in the country.
The first smartphone that the company is launching under the Z series is the Vivo Z1Pro. The smartphone is launching in India on July 3, Vivo has officially confirmed. The Vivo Z1Pro is a feature-packed device. It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor, punch-hole display, a massive FHD+ display, big 5000mAh battery, gradient finish and so much more. Despite packing so many top-end features the smartphone will be affordably priced in the country because online-centric.
The question that arises here is, should you wait for the Vivo Z1Pro or go for the other phones at the similar price segment like the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Realme 3 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy M40, among others? Well, I believe all the aforementioned phones are great at the price they come for, but the Vivo Z1Pro, I believe, is a notch higher. If you're looking for a smartphone under Rs 20,000 that looks great, offers incredible battery life, and is powerful enough to handle heavy graphics games with ease like PUBG and Asphalt 9, the Vivo Z1Pro is definitely the one to consider.
Here are five reasons why I believe you should wait for the Vivo Z1Pro if you want a good all-rounder smartphone under Rs 20,000.
First Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC
The key highlight of the Vivo Z1Pro is its hardware. The Vivo Z1Pro will be the first smartphone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor in India. Now, there go a thumbs up for Vivo. Having said that it won't be wrong to say that the Vivo Z1Pro will compete with other smartphones running on Snapdragon 700 series processor like the Realme 3 Pro for instance. There's also the Redmi Note 7 Pro that may go against the Vivo Z1Pro but the Xiaomi phones run on Snapdragon 675 processor and not 700 series chip.
As far as the performance is concerned on paper the Snapdragon 712 AIE processor is way more powerful than Snapdragon 710 that is now a year old.
Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 712 processor beginning this year -- around Feb. We at India Today Tech will review the Vivo Z1Pro in the days to come and believe the smartphone will be a powerhouse. Meanwhile, Vivo is also touting the powerful performance of the Vivo Z1Pro. The company claims that the Vivo Z1Pro is capable of handling graphics-heavy games like PUBG very well. We will have more to say about the performance of the Vivo Z1Pro in the days to come.
First punch-hole display phone from Vivo
Until now we have seen several phones from other smartphone manufacturers with a punch-hole display. With the Z1Pro Vivo enters the competition too. The Z1Pro is the first smartphone from Vivo to come with a punch-hole display. The presence of such a display means bigger screen-to-body-ratio that in turn means that the smartphone will offer great multi-media experience. The Vivo Z1Pro comes with a massive 6.53-inch display with very minimal bezels around and an FHD+ panel.
Massive 5000mAh battery with fast charging support
The Vivo Z1Pro includes a 5000mAh battery that lasts pretty long in a single charge. I have been using the Vivo Z1Pro for some days now and for me, the phone lasted over a day in a single charge. I used the phone for playing PUBG and Asphalt 9, browsing social media apps and watching YouTube videos. The best thing this, the Vivo Z1Pro battery comes paired with support for 18W fast charging technology that charges the phone pretty quickly. Another highlight of the Vivo Z1Pro is that it comes with an OTG reverse charging function.
The Vivo Z1Pro is a powerful phone and handles all kinds of games pretty well and smoothly. I have played PUBG and Asphalt 9 for hours on the Vivo Z1Pro and at no point did I feel the phone was laggy. The smartphone was capable of running both basic and graphics-heavy games pretty well without any signs of stutter. Additionally, the Vivo Z1Pro also comes with bundled with several gaming features like Multi turbo, cooling turbo, game turbo, ART++ Turbo. With these gaming features, Vivo is aiming to offer a seamless and enhanced gaming experience.
Under Rs 20,000 price tag
Sources close of India Today Tech have confirmed that the Vivo Z1Pro will be priced under 20,000. The Vivo Z1Pr may cost somewhere between RS 15,000 - Rs 17,000. Notably, Vivo will reveal the official price of the Z1Pro on July 3. Having said that it looks like with the Vivo Z1Pro the company is aiming to take on the likes of phones like the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy M40, the Realme 3 Pro, among others.
