Virbhadra Singh, the former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh and a Congress leader, died in the early hours of Thursday after a protracted illness. He was 87 years old when he died. Singh was being treated at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) in Shimla, according to Medical Superintendent Dr Janak Raj. On April 13, he was diagnosed with Covid-19 infection and sent to Max Hospital in Mohali. Virbhadra Singh served as the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh for six times and is a nine-time MLA and five-time member of Parliament. To know more, watch the full video!
