Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma Wedding Rumours Not True, Says Actress’s Spokesperson

The rumours intensified after Virat was rested for the remaining ODI series against Sri Lanka that starts on December 10.

New Delhi: Film star Anushka Sharma’s spokesperson has made it clear that rumours of the Bollywood actress getting married to Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli next week are untrue. The denial came after several TV channels reported that the couple was likely to tie the knot in-between December 11-13 in Milan.

“There is absolutely no truth to it (rumours of marriage),” Anushka’s spokesperson told PTI,

In October, a newspaper had reported that an Italian wedding may be on the cards for the ‘Virushka’.

Also, India Today reported that the couple’s family and friends have already booked their tickets for Italy. It is believed that designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee is preparing Anushka Sharma’s outfit for the big day.

Earlier, it was also reported that Kohli has applied for a visa for the upcoming South Africa tour, which begins on 30 December, for his “wife” and it led to the speculation that the couple would be married this month itself.

Kohli and Anushka are open about their relationship and both the stars are super successful in their respective fields. Recently, Virat even praised Anushka in a chat show ‘Breakfast with Champions’ calling the Bollywood star his lady luck.

The Delhi sportsman, in a frank answer, said that “he had no brains before” and ever since “the lady” has come into his life, she’s taught him a lot of things. He added that he’s learnt a lot, and become more sensible in the last 4 years all because of her. She’s taught him how to be more patient and taught him how to utilise the position he is in, to the fullest, he further said.
