Cyclone Nisarga made landfall near Maharashtra’s Raigad district just after noon on Wednesday. Travelling at a speed of 20 kmph, with wind speeds between 100-130 kmph, it has been described as a super cyclonic storm.
Some videos on social media platforms give a glimpse into the severity of the storm, with howling winds, falling trees and rains lashing the landscape.
