Working women key to Japan's economic growth

Some years down the line, Japan will face the problem of an aging population and low birth rate, which will lead to a scarcity of young workers. Now, many companies in Japan prefer to hire married women. Toshiba, the major general electric manufacturer, has decided to increase the number of managing positions for female workers. And, to facilitate women employees who have children, Toshiba has been providing nursery facilities within its campus.
