All-women Navy crew of INSV Tarini reaches Goa after circumnavigating globe

All-women Navy crew onboard INSV Tarini vessel reached Panaji after circumnavigating around the globe. The crew was received by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at the port. INSV Tarini is the first all-women crew to accomplish the circumnavigating exercise. The crew embarked on its journey on September 10 last year. The team is led by Lieutenant Commander Vartika Joshi. INSV Tarini covered over 21,600 nautical miles since she left Goa spanning across five countries, four continents and three oceans.
