Wildlife officials make special food for endangered stag in J and K

Wildlife authorities in Jammu and Kashmir's Dachigam National Park have made special food arrangements for the endangered Kashmiri stag after the valley recently experienced heavy snowfall. Located on the outskirts of Srinagar, the national park has been dedicatedly working for conserving the stag, also known as 'Hangul'- a rare species of red deer. Heavy snowfall in the region forces the deer to come downhill in search of food, raising their chances of straying into human settlements.
