Srinagar youth donate blood to save precious lives in Valley

For the benefit of needy people and to save the precious lives, youth of Srinagar donated blood. A special blood donation camp was organised by a college in collaboration with department of health services. Their main aim is to make people aware about the importance of donating blood and help hospitals authorities of Valley which face shortage of blood at the time of emergency. Kashmir is a conflict zone and hospitals over there receive various accidental and injury cases due to firing and bomb blasts. Students from different colleges and universities came forward to donate their blood with full spirit. While speaking to ANI, one of the donor said, "As per the current and prevailing situation of J-K this is a great initiative. We can donate our blood because in emergency situation and in critical cases it helps. During the time of deficiency it works as a boon." Meanwhile, the doctor said, "We are always in shortage of blood. So, in this scenario the voluntary donation of blood is most welcome. I am happy to be here as the youth have participated will full enthusiasm and especially the females."
