Snake-charmers' village in UP still seeking for basic amenities

Amid aggressive election campaigning from political parties ahead of the General election, a section of the society is still invisible from the scene. Residents of Mainpuri's Nagla Darbari village of Uttar Pradesh are still deprived of the basic amenities. This village is known as the village of poor or snake-charmers. People here don't have a proper job or school where they can send their children for studies. Not having another option to earn daily bread and butter, the villagers are bound to become snake-charmers. They also train their children for the same job. UP's Mainpuri is going to polls on April 23 in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections.
