Shivraj Chouhan appeals people to donate extra belongings to needy

With an aim to bring cheer to the lives of people, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the newly-constituted 'Happiness Department' will launch its maiden weeklong functions from January 14. Chouhan appealed to people to donate their extra belongings to those who are in need of them and bring happiness in their lives. Madhya Pradesh last year became the first State in the country to set up a 'Happiness Department', with an aim to ensure "happiness in the lives of common people". A week-long programme of Happiness Department christened as Anandam will begin on January 14.
