Russell's viper snake rescued in Odisha's Baripada

One of the world's most venomous snakes, Russell's viper was rescued in Odisha's Baripada. The snake was found entangled in fishing net near a school. This was reported by the locals, after which the forest department took the initiative to rescue the snake. The snake is four feet long and weighs 3-4 kg. The snake was later released into the jungle.
