Rs 5.96 lakh in Rs 2000 fake notes seized, 3 arrested

The West Bengal Police has seized fake Indian currency notes worth rupees five lakh ninety-six thousand from Ranibagan Bhutia market in West Bengal's Murshidabad district. The seized currency is in denomination of Rs 2000 notes. Three persons have been arrested in this connection. Police has also recovered three mobile phones and two motorbikes from the accused. Investigation is underway to find whether more people were associated with the racket.
