Rajasthan ideal for tourism SEZ : CM Raje

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje recently met Minister of State for Tourism K J Alphonse and discussed various projects and budget provisions related to tourism development in Rajasthan along with the development of tourism SEZ in the state. In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that in order to promote the development of infrastructure and investment at vast level by the Ministry of Tourism, there is a proposal to set up five tourism SEZs in the country and Rajasthan is suitable for this in terms of its richness in tourism and it is also near to the capital city Delhi. She demanded around Rs 300 crores for Tribal Tourism, Eco Adventure and Mega Desert Circuit Under Swadesh Darshan Scheme in the meeting. Raje also urged the Union state Minister to assist in the introduction of air services for Jaipur-Kochi and Jaipur-Goa-Agra to facilitate tourists in Rajasthan.
