Ragpicker's son gets selected at Jodhpur AIIMS for MBBS, says want to work for his village

A ragpicker's son, Asharam Choudhary from Uttar Pradesh's Dewas, has been selected at Jodhpur AIIMS for MBBS. Asharam Choudhary, who belongs to Vijayaganj Mandi, who saw the dream of becoming a doctor is finally realizing his dream as he has cleared the examination at AIIMS. However, Asharam Choudhary's father Ranjit Choudhary saddens by telling that the family is financially weak. He said, "He has got admission in AIIMS but we don't have money to support him. Let's see what we can do. As of now a doctor and the Collector helped us." Asharam Choudhary expressed happiness and said, "My parents used to work as labourers and they struggled a lot to support my studies. 'I want to thank my parents and Navodaya Vidyalaya, and also Dakshina foundation for providing me financial help. A doctor in my village inspired me to choose this profession. Now when I have got an MBBS I want to help people of this areas as there is no doctor with a degree here."
