Pune (Maharashtra), May 31(ANI): Pune’s Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market resumed operations after 50 days on May 31. Around 200 vehicles loaded with vegetables and fruits arrived at market from different districts of Maharashtra. More than 400 vehicles were expected but as it was the first day of opening less vehicles arrived. In order to maintain social distancing, shops have been allocated alternate day to remain open. The market was closed by traders after some of the members in the market tested positive for COVID-19. Over 30,000 average footfalls are recorded in Pune's APMC market on general days.
