Congress MP Shashi Tharoor reacted on PM Narendra Modi's vision to light diya on April 5 and said that he will light a diya in solidarity with the people of India. But adding to it, he also said that he was disappointed to see that the Prime Minister devoted his speech to lighting of diyas as there was so much more that the nation was expecting from him. Tharoor said that government's earlier financial package was not adequate. "A lot of people felt left out and marginalized, PM Modi has not addressed their needs," he added. He further accused PM for not dealing with the problem of lack of personal protective equipment and rapid testing kits. "Photo ops will not solve coronavirus problem," Shashi Tharoor added.
