Passengers create ruckus at Surat Airport over cancellation of flight

Passengers at Gujarat's Surat Airport created ruckus after an Air India flight bound to Delhi got cancelled on the night of August 18. The passengers clashed with the authorities and police. They also shouted slogans against Air India. One of the passengers said, "My flight was from Surat to Delhi but suddenly we were told at 11:30 that our flight has been cancelled. The reason that was given to us was that the duty hours of the pilot were over. The flight came around 09:35 but we were told that the decision would be made in an hour and that went on."
