Odisha hospital inferno: Health Minister JP Nadda takes stock of SUM Hospital

Amid the protests by local residents demanding Rs. 15 lakh compensation to the families of the victims of SUM hospital inferno, Union Health Minister JP Nadda, along with Minister of State (MoS) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, on Wednesday took stock of the situation and assured of taking appropriate steps. "Prima facie, I find some safety issues which need to be addressed," Nadda said. At least 20 people were killed and over 100 injured after a major fire broke out at the SUM Hospital in Odisha's capital city Bhubaneswar on Monday evening.
