Odisha becomes first state to extend lockdown till April 30

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik extends lockdown in the state till April 30 amid coronavirus pandemic. With this, Odisha becomes the first state to announce the extension of lockdown. He further requested the Centre not to start railways and air services in the state till April 30. Naveen Patnaik also announced that the educational institutions in the state will also remain closed till June 17. Odisha has so far reported 42 COVID-19 cases and one death.
