Will not take legal action against BCCI: Azharuddin

Breathing a sigh of relief as the Hyderabad High Court ruled that the lifetime ban imposed on him was unsustainable in law former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin today stated that he is delighted about the court's decision. The former skipper also added that he will not take any action against the BCCI, which banned him in 2000. Azharuddin though ruled out the possibility of playing cricket ever again but added he would like to contribute to cricket in India. Now that the High Court has ruled in his favour, fans and supporters of Azharuddin started celebrations and fired crackers outside his residence in New Delhi.
