No shortage of medicines in JandK, 95 percent doctors on duty: MEA

Ministery of External Affairs clarified on Thursday that there is no shortage of medicines in the Jammu and Kashmir which is going through restrictions since the abrogation of Article 370. While addressing a press conference in New Delhi on September 12, Spokesperson of MEA, Raveesh Kumar, said, "All essential supplies including 24*7 electricity, water, healthcare and education and sanitation are being ensured. Hospitals and medical are functioning normally, there is no shortage of medicines. 95% of healthcare professionals are on duty in Jammu and Kashmir." The response came against some reports which claimed that there is shortage of medicines in JandK.
