No filmmaker has right to hurt sentiments of any community: Gajendra Chauhan on Padmavati row

Speaking on the ongoing controversy surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati', actor Gajendra Chauhan, on Tuesday, said that no filmmaker has the right to hurt the sentiments of any community. While talking to ANI, Chauhan said that there should be historians in the Censor board. 'Padmavati', starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, has been facing protests from various communal groups, including Shree Rajput Karni Sena for allegedly tampering with historical facts. The movie, which is slated to release on December 1, has been embroiled in a spate of controversies ever since its inception.
