Newspapers protest against killing of journalist in Tripura with blank editorials

Majority of newspapers on Thursday left space for editorials blank to protest against killing of journalist Sudip Datta Bhowmik in Tripura. This comes a day after Commandant of 2nd Tripura State Rifles Tapan Debbarma was arrested in connection with Journalist Sudip's alleged murder case. Earlier, Journalists blocked Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's official residence with body of deceased scribe Sudip Batta Bhowmik. Hundreds of people marched on roads to protest against the killing.
