NDMC sanitation workers wear personal protective gear as precautionary measure amid COVID-19

Sanitation workers of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) wore personal protective gear while collecting garbage in the national capital on April 09. They collected garbage from the houses in Paharganj area of Delhi. Sanitation workers wore protective gears for prevention from COVID-19 transmission. While speaking to ANI, one of the sanitation workers said, "We have been provided with full protective gear." There are total 669 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Delhi including 426 cases from Markaz. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 5095 in India and 166 deaths.
